SA Emerging Professionals Network
The Emerging Human Resource Professionals Network, SA is a group specifically designed for emerging professionals who are in the early stages of their careers in HR or related fields, professionals in related fields who are keen to further develop their careers in HR, aspiring professionals or students in Human Resources, Psychology, Business and other related fields.
Our mission is to connect emerging HR professionals through networking, professional development and growth opportunities, thereby creating the next generation of HR Leaders.
We focus on providing an environment for emerging professionals to learn and gain insight into the HR profession, and also provide opportunities to network and meet industry experts and other HR professionals. Each of our forums are delivered in different formats, including, presentations, case studies, mentoring, networking and HR practitioners sharing their own experiences.

The Emerging HR Professionals Network is run by AHRI members. They are HR professionals who volunteer their time and expertise to expand the scope of knowledge to others in the profession.

Types of activities
- Assisting with the organisation and planning of the professional development calendar;
- Facilitating forums for the open discussion of ideas, current trends and developments that are of interest;
- Providing opportunities for others to access industry experts, both practitioners and thought leaders, through presentation, mentoring and networking; and
- Developing research opportunities for recommendation to AHRI national office.
