By coming along to an AHRI networking opportunity, such as a conference, special event, short course, or a local area meeting run by an AHRI council or network, you are mixing with peers that are as motivated as you are about HR.
AHRI holds events and courses in broad-based HR and business subjects as well as in niche topic areas - so attending gives you the ability to learn something new, meet people that face the same challenges as you, present your stories and case studies to one other, as well as have a good time!
Our Network Forums are free to attend for members, and all members pay a lower "member rate" for our larger conferences and events.
All paying members (with the exception of student members, who have access to the online version) get HRMonthly magazine in the mail each month, which alone is valued at $165 per year. Get a monthly dose of the latest news, interviews and opinions by business and HR thought-leaders in Australia and worldwide, as well as delve into the issues through feature articles on topics in HR that affect us at work every day. In between issues, members can stay up to date via HRM online, the site that complements the magazine and is updated each date with the latest news and editorial.
All members also get full access to the online-based Asia Pacific Journal of Human Resources – an applied, peer-reviewed journal that publishes the results of research, theoretical and conceptual development and examples of current practice.
