Student ambassador role
The student ambassador role was established in 2015 as a way to recognise students that have gone above and beyond their normal studies to set themselves apart as a serious HR professional in the making. These ambassadors can be self nominated, or nominated through an academic contact. The benefits of this role will be:
- Access to the network of State Councillors and AHRI Convenors
- Free membership for 12 months
- Opportunity to learn and grow
- Standing out from the crowd by including this on your CV and creating better employment opportunities
In return, the student ambassador are required to be AHRI advocates for student membership among their peers. In partnership with the membership team, help to identify opportunities for students and HR professionals to connect. They will be provided with a student ambassador kit to help them share the benefits of being an AHRI member and help others to apply. Ambassadors are required to organise at least one event per semester at their university.
We look to secure at least 2 ambassadors per university, plus a pipeline for future years. To register your interest in this role please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
