Contributor of blogs or opinion pieces
AHRI publishes a range of publications under the umbrella of Human Resources Media. These include HRM magazine, HRMonline and HRM AM enews. These publications feature articles on the latest developments in the profession and essential news, tips and information for HR practitioners. AHRI and its publishing agency Mahlab Media feature the experiences and opinions of AHRI members via blog articles and opinion pieces. These could be related to your area of expertise, or as a guest blogger for a specific AHRI event such as the AHRI Awards or National Convention, or topical development.
Skills and experience required
You do not need to have formal skills or experience to submit a blog or become a regular AHRI blogger. Blog articles and opinion pieces should be interesting and thought-provoking to readers, and spark a discussion.
The time required to write your piece and edit where required.
How to apply
To express your interest in becoming a contributor to AHRI’s blogs and opinion pieces, contact Senior Communications and Content Coordinator Mi Fon Lew via email. In your email, specify your name, AHRI member number (if available), contact details, years of experience and area of expertise. If you have any examples of blogs or written pieces available to share, please attach these to the email. We do not accept articles which overtly promote or advertise products or services. You will be added to the volunteering database and will be contacted when an opportunity arises.
