AHRI membership fees
All fees listed below include 10% GST. GST is not applicable for members residing outside of Australia, however overseas members will be charged a $15 postage fee in addition to their membership fees.
Graduate membership $132 per year
Professional Member (MAHRI) $360 per year
Professional Member (CAHRI) $360 per year
Fellow FAHRI $420 per year
Certified Practitioner (CPHR) $360 per year
Fellow Certified Practitioner (FCPHR) $360 per year

This includes one individual Professional-level membership or Affiliate-level membership. Other members of your HR team receive discounts of their individual memberships at the following rates:
- 2-19 individual memberships – 10% off
- 20-49 individual memberships – 15% off
- 50 or more individual memberships – by negotiation
$33 per year
Please note that student membership is available to people who are studying a HR relevant qualification. It is designed for people who have not yet entered the workforce and is therefore unsuitable for people who are currently working in HR.
Membership payment options
Our preferred payment method for AHRI membership and renewal fees is online through our secure payment system using a credit card. AHRI accepts:

Other payment options are:
- Phone - Credit card details may be provided over the phone.
- Cheque - Cheques should be made payable to AHRI.
- EFT payment - Electronic transfers must include the membership ID or Invoice No as the payment reference. A remittance advice should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note: a receipt will be emailed to your nominated email address 1 business day after payment is received. Receipts can only be issued to the member, and cannot be provided to a third party.
$55 Joining fee for non-online applications
The AHRI member joining fee of $55 is only applicable to new member applications received by fax, email or post. You will not be charged the joining fee when applying and paying for new membership online. Join now
$55 Upgrading fee
A non-refundable upgrade assessment fee of $55 is payable by existing members who apply to upgrade to a new membership level (for example, from Affiliate to Professional Member).
