Membership fees

AHRI offers a range of membership levels dependent on your professional experience. Becoming an AHRI member will give you access to invaluable HR resources, member discounts on professional development programs, networking opportunities and more. Read more about the benefits of AHRI membership.


Certified HR Practitioner Membership

HR certification is the industry standard for HR practitioners. Experienced HR practitioners can achieve HR certification through one of three certification pathways.

After attaining certification status by the National Certification Council, ongoing membership fees for Certified HR Practitioners are:

  • Certified Practitioner (CPHR) $360 per year
  • Fellow Certified Practitioner (FCPHR) $420 per year

  • Graduate Member: $132 per year
  • Professional Member (MAHRI): $360 per year
  • Professional Member (CAHRI): $360 per year
  • Fellow Member (FAHRI): $420 per year

Organisation Membership

  • $700 per year
  • Organisation Membership includes one individual Professional-level Membership or Affiliate-level Membership.

Additional members of an organisation's HR team can be linked to the account and invoiced to your organisation at the following rates:

  • 2-19 individual memberships: 10% off the standard price per membership
  • 20-49 individual memberships: 15% off the standard price per membership
  • 50 or more individual memberships: by negotiation

Student membership

  • $33 per year
  • Student membership is available to people who are studying a HR relevant qualification. It is designed for people who have not yet entered the workforce. Professional Membership would be suitable for people who are currently working in HR.

Membership Payment Options

Our preferred payment method for AHRI membership and renewal fees is online through our secure payment system using a credit card.  AHRI accepts:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • Diners
  • American Express

Other payment options are:

  • Phone: Credit card details may be provided over the phone
  • Cheque made payable to AHRI
  • EFT payment: Electronic transfers must include the membership ID or Invoice No as the payment reference. Remittance advice should be emailed to renewals@ahri.com.au

Please note: a receipt will be emailed to your nominated email address shortly after payment is received. Receipts can only be issued to the member, and can not be provided to a third party.

GST

All membership fees include 10% GST.

Overseas Members

GST is not applicable for members residing outside of Australia, however overseas members will be charged a $15 postage fee in addition to their membership fee.

Joining fee for non-online applications

A member joining fee of $55 is applicable to new member applications received by fax, email or post. You will not be charged the joining fee when applying and paying for new membership online.

$55 Upgrading Fee

A non-refundable upgrade assessment fee of $55 is payable by existing members who apply to upgrade to a new membership level (e.g.,  Affiliate to Professional Member).

AHRI PROCOVER

Professional members receive free professional indemnity insurance as part of their membership.
