The three founding directors of Henley created a vision for positive change after they felt their growing success came with a responsibility to ‘give back’ to the community. Working with families every day, medical causes became an obvious choice, to help improve the quality of life for sick children and their families.
Conceptualised in 1993 to bring their vision for positive change to life, Henley's philanthropic initiative centres on building and donating homes to charitable causes, who receive 100 per cent of the proceeds. They share this vision with our employees and business partners to embed a culture of giving back to the community.
The Henley philanthropic initiative has donated 65 homes, raising over $24m for various charities whilst embedding a culture of ‘giving back’ that has increased employee engagement and strengthened ties with business partners. There’s nothing more uplifting than being able to make a significant difference to the community through fundraising.
