Enabled Employment

Enabled Employment is privately owned company, operated by people with disability, for people with disability. They are a free online marketplace for people with a disability to find flexible work with inclusive employers, and receive no government funding. This enables self-determination and encourages employers to promote flexible working conditions.

The current employment model for people with a disability does not assist 75% of those who are seeking work with a disability. Enabled Employment are successfully challenging the status quo by operating as a private company, and providing an employment service for people with disability without government funding.

The organisation enables people with disability to seek work with inclusive employers who offer flexible working conditions. Success of their work has been measured through the number of employers who have signed up (132) and the number of jobs advertised (130). The success rate for filling roles has been 50%, which is 100% higher than most mainstream companies.
