Student membership
For university students who are currently studying full or part-time and have never worked in an HR role. AHRI will set you up with foundational knowledge to kick-start your HR career.

Professional MAHRI
For HR practitioners with over 5 years’ experience working in HR or people management, or who have an undergraduate or higher qualification and two years’ experience working in HR. AHRI will help you elevate your HR practice and provide you with the skills to operate as a strategic business partner.

Certified HR Professional
Certified AHRI members have been assessed against global best-practice HR benchmarks, and demonstrated that you’ve got the skills to be a strategic business partner and influencer in your business.
Professional MAHRI members with over five years of HR/people management experience, are eligible to become a certified member via an AHRI Certification Pathway.

Fellow Certified HR Professional
Fellow certified members are proven HR and people leaders, influencers and strategists demonstrating the highest level of HR knowledge. Fellow certified members have demonstrated contribution to and have a record of achievement in the practice of HR and continue to contribute to the HR profession. Certified HR Professional members are eligible to apply for Fellow Certified status via the application process.

Renew your membership
AHRI members will receive an annual notification to renew their membership via email. To see when your membership renewal is due, pay your annual membership fee or to manage your membership, login to your AHRI member portal and select ‘Renewals’ under the ‘My Account’ tab.
Upgrade your membership
Eligible associate members can upgrade to professional membership directly via their AHRI member portal. Professional MAHRI members can become Certified HR members by completing an AHRI Certification Pathway. To become a Fellow Certified member, complete an AHRI Certification Pathway and then apply for fellowship at the same time find out more here.
Continuing professional development
AHRI Professional, Certified and Fellow/FCPHR members are required to undertake 60 hours of continuing professional development (CPD) over 3 years to maintain their AHRI membership. Members can track and record CPD points in the AHRI member portal.
You can earn CPD points by attending AHRI events, upskilling in a short course or attending local networking opportunities.
