Applications are now closed and we look forward to announcing the winners at our celebration event in Sydney on Friday 1 December.

“This inspiring new scholarship is a key component of a $250,000 investment by AHRI into the HR profession.
The Scholarship underlines the AHRI Board’s commitment to investing in the profession and provides a pathway to fostering the growth of individual HR professionals and the overall development of the profession.”

In 2023, AHRI is celebrating 80 years since its inception. To mark this important milestone and to recognise the contribution that HR professionals have made to their people, workplaces, and organisations since 1943, the AHRI Board is proud to announce The AHRI Scholarship as a lasting legacy.
This Scholarship recognises an individual committed to growing the HR body of knowledge and contributing to a better understanding of HR’s contribution and value.
The Scholarship Advisory Committee will work with the AHRI Board and will be drawn from across the profession to evaluate submissions for the scholarship.
Prize
Up to $15,000 AUD will be awarded to one successful applicant.
The scholarship can be used for study (dissertation or thesis to be completed within a year), a secondment, training, or research and the development of a paper. At the completion of their study, the scholarship winner will be invited to present their findings to AHRI through appropriate agreed channels.
