In memory of Joe Fischer who, through his personal and professional influence and generosity as an HR leader, supported others in the HR and business community to develop and thrive as leaders.
Recognises an emerging HR Leader who demonstrates excellence in HR through submission of a piece of writing/verbal recording/recorded presentation on a topic relating to their potential for HR Leadership.
This scholarship is supported by the generosity of SMG, where Joe was a Senior Partner for 13 years, and CEO of SMG’s Centre for Integral Leadership Asia.
Prize
One Joe Fischer HR Leadership Scholarship will be awarded. The Scholarship winner will receive entry into the AHRI Senior Leaders Pathway to Certification, a delegate registration to AHRI’s National Convention & Exhibition 2024, and the opportunity to attend an SMG Executive Presence and Impact workshop with Peter Kingston.
Eligibility
- Current AHRI member
- Currently employed in an HR role in Australia
- Meets the criteria for enrolment in the Senior Leaders Pathway
Application
Either a written (1500 words max), verbal, or recorded presentation (15 mins max) submission answering the question:
“‘How have you seen HR leadership evolve during your career to date? How will you seek to influence this evolution as you continue to develop and grow as an HR leader?”
