Darren Marshall FAHRI
Darren possesses valuable skills and experience in human resources and organisational development. His career spans several organisations across health and local government; he has held the position of Manager Organisational Development for Central Goldfields Shire Council for the past 11 years. Darren's qualifications include: Master of Business Administration (Human Resources specialisation); Graduate Diploma Business Administration; Graduate Certificate in Management; Executive Certificate Occupational Safety and Hygiene. Darren has a strong commitment to the principles that underpin his industry. Of special interest to Darren is gaining support and training opportunities for Human Resources practitioners in regional areas.
Lisa Hobson MAHRI
Having been involved in successfully re-establishing the AHRI Young Professionals Network as Co Convenor, I am highly enthusiastic about helping shape the future of the HR profession and ensuring AHRI is seen as the HR centre of excellence. I have extensive corporate experience in both the public and private sectors of the Financial Services industry and currently work as a People and Culture Associate. With my wide breadth of experience in operations, online communications and promotional initiatives, I feel that I will bring a fresh perspective to membership drives, AHRI network performance and expanding AHRI's exposure to key stakeholders.
Helen Grigg CAHRI
Helen has worked with the Morrows group through a period of significant change as well as having 15 years' experience working in the multi discipline services and financial planning industry space. A passionate advocate working to facilitate all staff members achievement of their full potential. She is unique in having experience working in dealer groups, Master trusts, planning and accounting firms as well as specialist qualifications in human resources. In her current role she handles all general HR requirements as well as using her advanced skills for specialist projects such as cultural change initiatives, performance management programs and leadership coaching.
Annabelle Kirwan FAHRI
Annabelle Kirwan has had more than 20 years' experience as a HR practitioner, practicing in both Victoria and Queensland in industries as diverse as retail, manufacturing and health. Known as a change management and organisational development specialist, Annabelle has an ever-growing toolkit to foster staff engagement. Annabelle is a vocal advocate for HR to influence decision-makers at all levels and on all aspects of the business.Currently the General Manager People and Development for Mind Australia and is relishing the challenge associated with working in a not for profit community and mental health service.
Lucy Barker CAHRI
I am nominating for the state councillor position. I am a passionate HR professional, and the HR Director for Farstad Shipping Pty Ltd. I believe that within any business HR should strive to be not only a business partner but a key player in anticipating future business needs and identifying how these needs can be met from a HR perspective. I believe this position would not only be a great professional development opportunity for myself but a way to give back to the HR profession and help enhance the knowledge and skills of all AHRI members.
David Smith CAHRI
David Smith (CAHRI), Director of HR4SMEs and HR4NFPs has over 20 year's management experience and provides innovative HR solutions to SMEs/NFPs to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of managing people. David completed his masters in Strategic HR Management in 2011, having already completed a degree in Marketing/Corporate Strategy. David is accredited to deliver DiSC and Genos leadership development programs and is an AHRI mentor. David has always believed the best minute you invest is the one you invest in people. He is passionate about helping organisations create high performing cultures with engaged employees, who are motivated to deliver organisational objectives.
Roslyn Reynolds CAHRI
As senior HR policy consultant at Monash University, I have independent responsibility for the development, review and implementation of HR policies and procedures that support HR best practice and the strategic direction of the University. I have been a CAHRI member since 2012 and a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society since 2008. Previously, I have held generalist HR roles in both public, and NFP sectors which include organisations such as Western Health, and Epworth Healthcare. I am looking forward to promoting the objectives of AHRI, and making a meaningful contribution to the strategic direction of the profession.
Chris Steinfort CAHRI
An AHRI state councillor since 2010, Chris brings a diverse range of senior HR experiences from the private, public and not for profit sectors. In 2008, Chris commenced his current role of director, human resources with Australian Red Cross, a leading humanitarian organisation with 2,900 staff and 33,000 volunteers. Together with other AHRI council members, Chris has contributed to the quality of various AHRI state based events, including HR Practices Day. Chris's further contribution on Council includes helping AHRI develop its membership offering to organisations, and he has a keen interest in creating greater capacity for AHRI to offer benchmarks and standards as membership services.
Clare Murphy CAHRI
Clare is the director of People & Strategy at St Michael's Grammar. Clare has been involved with AHRI for a number of years including being on the ER/IR/OH&S and OD Committees and as a participant in the mentoring program. Clare has also been on the Victorian Council for the past 2 years and is seeking re-election. Clare is particularly focussed on how AHRI can support SME's and the NFP sector and if re-elected will continue to work with Council and AHRI to ensure AHRI provides great value to members.
Sue Ellson MAHRI
Sue Ellson BBus AIMM MAHRI has been an AHRI Member since 2006 and the Convenor for the International Human Resources Network from 2007 – 2014. In March this year, she was co-opted on to the Victorian Council and at the AHRI Leaders Dinner on 19 August 2014 was awarded an AHRI Medal for her contribution to AHRI and the HR Profession. Sue is passionate about HR and the value it provides to individuals and organisations locally and internationally. Sue has instigated many new initiatives and opportunities online and in person for AHRI members and is committed to completing even more.
Mike Dawson-Smith FAHRI
As an AHRI Fellow and member for 34 years and having occupied senior HR roles in the Private, Public and more recently the NFP sectors, I joined AHRI as a Councillor in 2010. My priorities on Council have been to provide value to all membership levels and industry sectors. The HR Leaders Forums have proved popular with senior HR practitioners and Council sponsored specialist forums have been the best attended nationally. My other priorities include building sustainable regional networks and engaging NFP HR practitioners to the profession. I am currently the Victorian State President and a Board Member of AHRI.
Mary McGeoch FAHRI
Mary is dedicated to the HR profession. She is a state council member, mentor and Fellow with AHRI. As a Councillor, Mary is responsible for the HR Leaders network, mentoring and VP of AHRI membership. She has been the Convenor of the Organisational Design and Development (ODD) committee for Victoria since 2010 and has championed almost 20 ODD events for the AHRI community. Mary has completed a Masters of HR Management and a PhD and has fifteen years of combined HR/ODD experience with several previous senior and executive positions held at Drake International, YPRL, Hudson Talent Management and the NAB.
