Jonathan Bands CAHRI

The business environment in South Australia is shifting toward smaller organisations. I am passionate about the HR profession at every level, from undergraduate to senior executive. I have held senior HR roles internationally and in Australia with IGA Distribution (Metcash), ElectraNet and the South Australian Water Corporation. I have significant experience in all key HR disciplines. I am MBA qualified. Working as an independent consultant I understand the issues facing HR in small and medium sized business as well as large corporates. I want to serve this community.

Andrea Collett CAHRI

Since joining AHRI in 2006 I have served two years on the OD&D Committee and the last six years on State Council.  As an active member on council I have contributed to the success of our state based conferences and initiatives.  As a L&OD specialist, I have a wide and varied network and am exposed to all HR areas from strategic to operational.  Therefore I am well placed to serve our members on the issues that concern them.  I wish to continue to serve my fellow professionals to ensure that HR makes a serious contribution at the strategic level.

David Stearne MAHRI

My name is David Stearne and I have over 25 years working as a psychologist, consultant, trainer and HR professional. Currently I am a senior Organisational Development Consultant with the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.  Previously I have; 7.5 years – National Human Resources Manager – Badge; 4.5 years – Human Resources Manager – Sarah Group; 2 years – Senior Human Resources Manager – Bradlo (consultancy); 5 years – Senior Human Resources Specialist – SGIC/ SGIO/ NRMA. My formal qualifications are in psychology and I have been facilitating the SA Sole Practitioners for the past 8 years.

Chris Wood FAHRI

Currently Manager of Human Resources Santos Pty Ltd, with a wide breadth of portfolio experience including Organisational and People Development, Human Resources Management, Diversity and Contingent workforce management. I bring experience both in business and human resources role disciplines, industry and location. With domestic and international roles in the Retail, Hospitality, Leisure, FMCG, Airline and Resources Industries. I look forward to leading the SA AHRI Council and representing the HR and Business Professionals in SA for another term, with focus on; Professional and personal development via quality events; Partnerships  with complimentary industry associations; AHRI member satisfaction, retention and growth, for individuals and organisations in SA. 

Greg Fisher FAHRI

I am currently the MBA Director and Associate Professor in Human Resource Management at Flinders University. I led the team that implemented our new AHRI accredited Bachelor of Business (HRM). I have held HRM and HRD roles in the public sector and tripartite bodies. My qualifications are a PhD, a MAA, and a BBus. I have particular interest in mentoring, talent management, career development and diversity in professions. I am standing for council election to contribute to the development of the HR profession in South Australia.

Laura Schonfeldt CAHRI

Laura has 14 years' professional experience, with a career established in a business partnering capacity; she has partnered through to executive level and has successfully expanded into leading the HR team of an ASX listed company. As an HR leader, Laura prides herself on being commercially astute, pragmatic and results focused. Laura brings knowledge from across various industries (agri-business, financial services, retail, not-for-profit) and has in-depth experience in the majority of HR specialities, including organisational change, transformation projects, HR governance and remuneration. As passionate professional, Laura will effectively contribute to the SA Council continuing to be business savvy and relevant.

Julie Holder CAHRI

I am a Senior HR Manager with the Dept of Defence.  I have served on the SA State Council for 4 years undertaking the roles of Secretary and VP Professional Development. I have taken an active role on the council assisting with a number of events including HR Practices and HR Leadership conferences and providing feedback to AHRI.  I bring a range of skills and capabilities to the State Council and would like to continue to serve on the SA State Council promoting and building AHRI's presence in SA and ensuring SA members have a regional voice.
