Organisational structure


Chris Dayson manages the national events program at AHRI and leads the CPD Events team in the production of professional development activities including the national convention, state conferences, special events, HR leaders’ events, as well as a wide range of network events and forums across the country.

Chris has been an event manager for over 19 years, working across a wide array of industry sectors, including corporate, sporting, charity and most recently not-for-profit organisations. His experience has been built through the delivery of small and large scale events, both public and private, and has developed extensive experience in the production of professional development events.

Prior to this Chris commenced a career as a software consultant in the IT industry. This experience means brings a technical expertise to the event manager role and a perspective beyond the events industry.

From the customers perspective, he is passionate about both the delegates experience and the successful delivery of events. From an operational viewpoint, he continually seeks new efficiencies and opportunities for his team and AHRI as a whole.
